The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Koval, has warned that the European Union may limit imports of Ukrainian chicken meat, eggs, honey, and sugar due to lobbies from these industries. However, imports of Ukrainian soybeans are expected to continue as Europe finds it profitable to source from neighboring countries. Koval urged Ukrainian exporters to avoid sensitive products and expand processing to avoid quotas on finished products. He also highlighted the need to find affordable positions and establish production in Ukraine to meet domestic demand.
