The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia has allocated an additional 166 million rubles to the Vologda Oblast, bringing the total preferential loan funding for agricultural enterprises to 2.6 billion rubles. These loans, with interest rate subsidies of up to 5% per year, are intended to support spring field work and are part of a program that has provided over 20 billion rubles in funding since its inception in 2017. The region, a significant producer of milk, eggs, and potatoes, has seen an increase in state support for the sowing campaign due to rising costs, with spring sowing planned across 137,000 hectares.
