An Australian seaweed-related organization, ASSA industry delegation, visited Wando, South Jeolla Province, South Korea, to share aquaculture technology and establish a research and development cooperative system between Korea and Australia. The delegation, which included members from the marine industry, universities, and researchers, toured seaweed farms and facilities in Wando, which is the largest seaweed producing area in the country. The visit was supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and focused on the eco-friendly seaweed aquaculture method and seaweed-related businesses in Wando.
