The Ministry of Agriculture has reported a general increase in the wholesale prices of fruits and vegetables, with potatoes, imported apples, cabbage, and red pepper becoming more expensive. Red pepper saw the highest weekly increase at 4.2%. However, the price of cucumbers remained stable, and imported tomatoes decreased by 5.5%. Year-on-year, red pepper, potatoes, and cabbage prices have risen by 11.4%, 18.3%, and 44.2% respectively, while imported tomatoes and cucumbers have become cheaper by 19.6% and 29.9% respectively.
