According to data from local administrative bodies, the country has already stockpiled 24.7 million tons of hay (100.9% of the plan), 1.8 million tons of silage feed (108.6%), 2.7 million tons of mixed feed (48.9%), 1.8 million tons of straw (88.0%), and 3.7 million tons of silage corn (79.6%).
North Kazakhstan Region (125.2%), Abaj Region, Akmola Region, Aktobe Region, Jambyl Region, Almaty Region, Kostanay Region, East Kazakhstan Region, Shymkent City (all 100%), and Zhetysu Region (104.5%) have all exceeded or met the feed reserve plan.
The aforementioned feed reserves are sufficient to guarantee the nutritional needs of livestock, ensure the planned output of livestock products and livestock reproduction, and maintain the livestock population.
Overall, the feed supply situation in Kazakhstan is stable.
