West Java DKPP Inspects Sacrifice Animals in Depok, Ensures Animal Conditions Are Healthy and Safe

Panennews.com - The Food Security and Livestock Agency (DKPP) of West Java Province ensures that the condition of sacrificial animals in Depok City is healthy and safe for sacrifice during the moment of the Idul Adha holiday in 2026. The inspection was carried out together with a team from the Food Security, Agriculture, and Fisheries Agency (DKP3) of Depok City at several sacrificial animal sales sites. Veterinarian of DKPP West Java Province, Septian Widyarto, said that his party had conducted inspections at four sacrificial animal sites in Depok City. "So far, all are healthy, whether cows, sheep, or goats. None are significantly sick and the conditions also meet the criteria for sacrifice," said Septian in his statement, Friday (22/5/2026).
