The winter crop campaign in La Pampa is progressing with encouraging results. According to Report No. 809 from the Córdoba Cereal Exchange (BCCBA), corresponding to October, wheat and barley show favorable development in the province, with production projections reaching 1.3 million tons. Of that total, more than one million tons correspond to wheat, which would represent the highest Pampa production since 2019, highlighted by the Agronomic Information Department of the BCCBA. "The crops maintain a good general condition, although part of the area is still going through critical stages and there are symptoms of water stress due to lack of water, in addition to the pending impact of the frosts at the end of October," explained Agostina Seco, an analyst from the Exchange.
