Egypt: Wheat, corn, and iron are the most important things received by Damietta Port last week

Last week, Damietta Port received tens of thousands of tons of various commodities. 11 container ships and 35 general cargo ships arrived, while 10 container ships and 24 general cargo ships left. The media center of “Damietta Port Authority” said that the number of ships in the port during the aforementioned period reached 103 ships. The center added that the port received 16,399 tons of iron, 5,085 tons of beech wood, and 7,799 tons of plywood. The port also received 42,463 tons of corn, 66,212 tons of wheat, 249 tons of tractors, 700 tons of edible oil and 7367 tons of soda.
