Damietta Port was highly active, handling a total of 175 ships in the past week, both receiving and sending off dozens of containers and general cargo ships. The port received various goods such as iron, beech wood, soda, corn, wheat, scrap, edible oil, sugar, and soybean meal, while it exported phosphate, urea, sand, salt, cement, and clinker. The export movement of containers totaled 4,575 TEUs, with 2817 TEUs received and 14,112 TEUs in transit.
