The wheat market in southern Brazil continues with little movement and falling prices, especially in light of the advancing harvest and weak industrial demand. According to TF Agroeconômica, prices remain stable in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, but show a slight downward trend in Paraná, where the harvest has already surpassed 60%. In Rio Grande do Sul, the futures market remains sideways, with spot deals at R$ 1,150.00 per ton, mill basis, but without much interest from sellers. Mills estimate prices close to R$ 1,100.00 for November, while the state enters the new crop with the lowest advance sales in recent years — only 130 thousand tons, compared to 300 thousand in 2024. Prices paid to the producer ("at the farm") remain between R$ 62.00 and R$ 64.00 per sack, depending on the region.
