As of November 1, 2025, Kazakhstan has a record amount of grain and legume crops stored in it – about 25 million tons, according to the National Statistics Bureau. Of this amount, 21 million tons are food grains, 2.7 million tons are feed grains, and 1.2 million tons are seeds. The leader among crops is wheat – its reserves have exceeded 20 million tons, which is a record for at least the last 10 years. Of these, 18 million tons are food wheat, 1 million tons are seeds, and 946 thousand tons are feed wheat. At the same time, about 1.1 million tons of durum wheat have been accumulated. In addition, the country stores 438 thousand tons of corn, 350 thousand tons of rice, 2.9 million tons of barley, and 296 thousand tons of oats.
