The first demonstration unit was inaugurated on the 2nd, with a fish farming system with 8,000 fingerlings, a nursery with potential for 2,000 seedlings, a garden for the community's consumption, a poultry farm with 100 rustic chickens, and training for indigenous people in aquaculture management. The noise from the dredge, motors, and other equipment used in the illegal gold extraction activity within the Yanomami Indigenous Land was silenced with the removal of the invaders by federal agents and the installation of demonstration units of agricultural technologies. The consequence of this work can already be seen in the community of Sikamabiu, in the Lower Mucajaí region, where 30 families reside, bringing together almost 400 indigenous people.
