Shandong Weifang Rainbow Chemical, known worldwide as Rainbow Agro, was born in China's Shandong province at the beginning of the 2000s and in just two decades became one of the largest exporters of agrochemicals on the planet. Its story is that of a company that knew how to take advantage of China's production scale to flood more than a hundred countries with herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides, but which today is moving towards a different model: to stop being just a supplier that ships containers from Asia and become a global operator, with formulation plants and local registrations near farmers.
