In July, the Brazilian chicken meat market showed mixed trends, with an increase in live chicken prices but a decrease in wholesale prices, particularly in São Paulo. Weak demand and concerns over Newcastle Disease contributed to the price drop. A survey by Safras & Mercado noted variations in the prices of chicken cuts in São Paulo. Despite these challenges, Brazil's poultry exports reached US$754.903 million, with a daily average of US$37.745 million, and the total export volume was 397,829 thousand tons, with an increase in the daily average and total quantity exported compared to July 2023.
