The cost of Kazakh flour has increased by 1.6 times in Uzbekistan and by 1.3 times in Kyrgyzstan, primarily due to rising grain prices in Kazakhstan caused by seasonal fluctuations and weather conditions. The turnover of flour from Russia and Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan is carried out in foreign currency, which contributes to the price instability. However, the Ministry of Agriculture in both countries expects prices to stabilize after harvesting and is taking measures to ensure food security and maintain price stability.
