Russian scientists, as part of the federal grant "Bread of Russia", have successfully implemented an advanced methodology for high-speed wheat breeding, achieving significant success in the process. This includes propagating valuable hybrid material in protected ground conditions using new technology, resulting in 2-3 harvests in winter and significantly reducing the selection process. The project aims to increase wheat yields using accelerated breeding methods and involves scientific centers from different regions in Russia, with the results of the work being summed up for the period from 2021 to 2023.
