Germany is set to become the second largest rapeseed producer in Europe in 2025, with a 2.3% increase in winter rapeseed sowing area to 1.11 million hectares, as per the Federal Statistical Office. France will lead as the first with nearly 1.27 million hectares sown. The EU is allocating 5.8 million hectares for rapeseed cultivation in 2025, highlighting its growing importance in Germany's agricultural plans.
