REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KENDARI — The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) of Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) took action to curb inflation rates in the region by organizing the Affordable Food Movement (GPM) at the former MTQ Kendari parking area, Friday (13/2/2026). This program provides subsidized basic needs to maintain the purchasing power of the community ahead of Ramadan. The General Chairman of Kadin Sultra, Anton Timbang, directly led the event which lasted for two days until Saturday (14/2/2026). He mobilized the board members along with local business actors to ensure the smooth and targeted distribution of basic needs. “As we see today, the affordable food movement is being held from today until tomorrow. This has become a routine activity for Kadin Sulawesi Tenggara. We see inflationary pressure in Sultra, so Kadin directly helps the community,” said Anton at the event location.
