World coffee production in 2024/25 is estimated at 176.2 million bags

Global coffee production for the 2024/2025 cycle was estimated at 176.2 million 60 kg bags, covering the two main species: Coffea arabica and Coffea canephora (robusta/conilon). The arabica harvest is expected to reach 99.9 million bags, representing an increase of 4.2% compared to the previous period. Robusta production is projected at 76.4 million bags, an increase of 4% compared to the 2023/2024 cycle. Brazil, the traditional largest coffee producer, will be responsible for 31% of global production, with a total harvest of 54.78 million bags, of which 39.58 million will be arabica and 15.2 million will be robusta. Vietnam, the second largest producer, is expected to account for 16.5% of global production, with 29.1 million bags, of which 27.9 million are Robusta. Colombia, third in the ranking, will produce 12.4 million bags of Arabica, representing 7% of the world supply.
