【Yanggu】Yanggu County's Haean-myeon and Seoul's Gangnam-gu Samsung 2-dong are pushing forward with a sister city relationship to promote mutual prosperity between urban and rural areas. The Haean-myeon Office and the Samsung 2-dong Resident Center are scheduled to hold an agreement ceremony on the morning of the 15th at the Punch Bowl Comprehensive Welfare Center, with officials from both institutions in attendance. This agreement is intended to establish an organic cooperative system between urban and rural areas and to expand exchanges in various fields such as administration, economy, and culture. Through the agreement, the two institutions plan to cooperate in areas such as the activation of direct trade of agricultural specialty products, the exchange of cultural and sports events, the sharing of excellent administrative practices, and the expansion of private exchanges. In particular, the linkage between the expansion of Haean-myeon's agricultural specialty product distribution channels and Samsung 2-dong's urban infrastructure is expected to yield mutual benefits. After the agreement ceremony, the Samsung 2-dong delegation is scheduled to visit locations such as Eulji View Tower and Yanggu Arboretum to enhance their understanding of the region.
