Yeonggwang County (County Head Jang Se-il) announced that they have implemented the "2025 Agricultural Machinery Traffic Accident Prevention Campaign" to prevent traffic accidents and create a safe rural traffic culture as the movement of agricultural machinery increases during the farming season. This campaign, under the theme "Agricultural machinery slowly, safety quickly," was conducted last November 11 in the Yeonggwang Town Terminal Market area and targeted around 300 farmers and residents. It included practical promotional activities such as guidelines for safe operation of agricultural machinery, traffic safety tips, and information on comprehensive agricultural machinery insurance enrollment. In particular, it focused on elderly farmers and those operating large-scale agricultural machinery such as tractors and combines, who frequently drive during nighttime or early morning hours.
