Yeonggwang County (County Head Jang Se-il) recently announced that they are swiftly pushing forward with a "preemptive stabilization plan" to stabilize the supply and demand of forage in response to the anticipated difficulties in securing feed for livestock farmers due to the delay in rice harvest caused by frequent rainfall. The rainfall in Yeonggwang area from September to October this year totaled 337.8 mm, the highest in the past three years. As a result, the harvesting of rice straw is not proceeding smoothly, and the county has taken emergency measures, anticipating a decrease in rice straw production due to these weather conditions. Yeonggwang County plans to ▲ provide additional support for forage seeds ▲ expand hay supply ▲ provide compound feed for Hanwoo farmers.
