Yogurt production in Russia increased by 2.5 percent in the first quarter (January-March) of the current year compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 202.1 thousand tons. These data were provided by the Milknews Analytical Center. Consumption of the dairy product increased even more, and over an even shorter period (data is given for January-February) – by 3.4 percent to 137.2 thousand tons.
