Yunnan freshwater fish exported to the United Arab Emirates

On November 1, a batch of live yellow catfish, black carp, grass carp, and carp weighing 182 kilograms departed from Mengzha Town, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture under customs supervision for Dubai, UAE. This marks the first export of Yunnan freshwater fish to the UAE. Mengzha Town is located in the southwestern border of China, with a subtropical monsoon climate, vast terraces, and abundant aquatic plants, earning it the title of "Fish and Rice Hometown of Southern Yunnan." The superior geographical and natural conditions have created an ideal environment for freshwater fish farming with sufficient oxygen and clear water quality in Mengzha waters.
