A team of expert scientists from Yunnan Province's sheep industry and the National Sheep System's Kunming Comprehensive Experimental Station conducted a visit to provide technical assistance for yellow goat breeding in Baoshan City's Longyang District, Shidian County, and Longling County. The team's focus was on gathering production data, organizing cross-breeding for new Yunshang yellow goat varieties, and offering guidance for autumn breeding techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of mutton sheep breeding. They also addressed the challenges faced by demonstration counties and farms, with plans to provide extensive breeding technology training and technical support to further improve and solidify the results of poverty alleviation efforts in the area.
