Yusuf Ziya Alim: "In 2025, 160 thousand tons of dry tea were produced"

General Manager of TEAKUR Yusuf Ziya Alim stated that 160 thousand tons of dry tea were produced in the past 2025 and said, "As of December 31, year-end sales of 31 thousand 750 tons of dry tea were made." Meeting with the press at the Rize Active Journalists Association, General Manager of Tea Enterprises (TEAKUR) Yusuf Ziya Alim evaluated the 2025 tea season. Alim noted that they had picked the most tea for the second time in the last 20 years, "Last year was actually a good year. We picked the second most tea in the last 20 years. In 2022, we picked 860 thousand tons of fresh tea, and in 2025, we picked 823 thousand tons of fresh tea. 160 thousand tons were produced as dry tea.
