Three years ago, the Zaporizhzhia Oil Extraction Plant, part of the LLC "Optimusagro Trade," transitioned to hybrid operations and began processing rapeseed alongside sunflower. This decision was driven by the excessively low margin on sunflower. Roman Suzak, Deputy General Director for Commodity Flows at LLC "Optimusagro Trade," shared this during the conference "Fat-and-Oil Industry-2025," reports APK-Inform. According to him, the quality of rapeseed in Ukraine this season is very high. This year, the enterprise received meal with the best protein content in recent years - around 40-41%. Meanwhile, sunflower significantly lags behind in quality indicators: small-seeded and contaminated.
