The Interministerial Management Committee for Rural Insurance approved the expansion of the pilot project for the Agricultural Zoning of Climate Risk Management Levels (ZarcNM) for soybean crops in the three states of the Southern region and Mato Grosso do Sul and for second-season corn in Paraná and MS. The resolution published in the Official Gazette of the Union increases the subsidy percentage for producers with better soil management. In the 2026/2027 crop season, the subsidy percentage for the rural insurance premium, to be applied on the policy value, will be 20% for Management Level 1 (NM1), 30% for NM2, 35% for NM3, and 40% for NM4. The subsidy values are 5% higher than those practiced for the first time in the 2025/2026 crop season in Paraná for management levels 2, 3, and 4.
