Samsun Agricultural and Forestry Provincial Director Kemal Yılmaz said that the agricultural frost affecting Turkey has negatively impacted hazelnut production, particularly in high-altitude orchards. Yılmaz emphasized that, despite the frost, Samsun, which was less affected compared to other provinces, produced 90 thousand tons of hazelnuts this year, surpassing Ordu for the first time in history and becoming "the province that produces the most hazelnuts in Turkey."
