The French have chosen their favorite pasta

These are not the ones that instinctively come to mind when we think of pasta. But tagliatelle is indeed the favorite model of the French according to a recent survey carried out by the OpinionWay institute for the Lustucru* brand. No less than 22% of those surveyed indicate that tagliatelle is their favorite pasta. More than half of them (56%) even cite them among all their favorite pastas. Tagliatelle is particularly popular with women (24% rank it first compared to 20% for men) while the age group does not lead to a significant difference. Farfalles and twists close to the podium On the other hand, tagliatelle is not the favorite pasta of the youngest and oldest since almost a quarter of 18-24 year olds and over 65 year olds cite spaghetti as their favorite pasta, i.e. five percentage points more than the sample average which places them just behind tagliatelle.
