However, the country lacks a strategic direction for the sustainable development of their cinnamon industry at the national level, and there is a need for research on new breeds and improved quality of seedlings. Furthermore, the market for cinnamon is increasingly focused on green consumption and quality assurance, with a particular emphasis on pesticide residues, especially in countries like the US.
