Chairman Nihat Çelik of TÜDKİYEB emphasized the need for breeders to have control over the pricing of their products, as they currently do not have a say in the prices despite their hard work. He proposed that breeders' associations should play an active role in determining prices in the market to ensure fair earnings for producers. Çelik also highlighted the importance of small livestock farming as the solution to the red meat problem, urging for policies to support and encourage this sector in order to minimize issues in red meat production.
