Argentina: Dairy Production in Argentina in November 2022 (Dec 22)

In November 2022, milk production had the largest drop in 35 months. The Chamber of Dairy Producers of the Western Basin of Buenos Aires (Caprolecoba) released an overview criticizing the implementation of the new phase of the "soybean dollar". Numbers show that the dairy farms are not receiving the corresponding price, based on the value they add to the chain as a consequence of measures such as the repression of internal prices, withholdings, and the decrease in export refunds.

The maximum sales volumes of 1.5K tons were achieved in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, the Krasnodar Territory, the Voronezh, Kirov, Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, Belgorod, Leningrad, and Moscow regions.

As part of the 'Sending 101 Cows to Nepal' project, 42 cows from South Korea were exported to Nepal. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs held a farewell ceremony at the Incheon International Airport Cargo Terminal on the 22nd with Heper Korea, a private international development organization, to commemorate the first day of sending 101 Korean dairy cows to Nepal. In January 2023, two dairy cows will be transported and used for sperm production for genetic improvement. Netherlands: Lower Dairy Quotations in W51 in the Netherlands (Dec 21)

The quotation for fresh butter amounts to USD 545.51 (EUR 510) per 100kg in W51, which is USD 5.35 (EUR 5) lower than in W50 when fresh butter lost USD 32.09 (EUR 30) from W49. Whole milk powder also lost USD 5.35 (EUR 5) per 100kg in W51 and now stands at USD 433.20 (EUR 405). The quotation for skimmed milk powder for consumption purposes dropped by USD 3.21 (EUR 3) to USD 297.36 (EUR 278) per 100kg in W51.
