China opens the market for Brazilian soybean meal

China has opened up its market for soybean meal from Brazil. The main buyer of Brazilian grain, the Asian giant gave approval to the derivative at a meeting of the subcommittee of the Sino-Brazilian High Level Commission for Coordination and Cooperation (Cosban), at the end of June. The opening has already been made official and does not depend on any publication. All that remains is the qualification, by the Chinese, of establishments able to export soybean meal — which will occur without a mission from the Asians, but by indication of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture. In addition to soybean meal, there was also authorization for the start of exports of shelled peanuts, citrus pulp, concentrated soy protein and fetal bovine serum.
