Global cherry consumption fell, but US exports remain steady

According to the latest data in 2020, the downfall happens to US cherry exports abroad from over 3,500M USD in 2019 to 2,500M USD. China, as the third largest importer of cherries from the US, is now supplied by Hong Kong as for fulfilling its demand. While US cherry exports are relatively stable from 2019 to 2020 period, several importing markets such as Canada, South Korea, Japan, and Vietnam, have exceeded their previous year's trades in 2020.
