China sells plums more expensively as demand remains high in the country. The wholesale price of fresh plums reached 2.04 USD/KG, an increase of +197.66% YoY. However, China's imports fell -22% YoY in 2020. Due to the impact of Covid-19, exporters who send plums to China such as Hong Kong are also hit by distribution issues, so the amount of plums that can be sent to China is also reduced.
