The wholesale price of sesame seeds in India increased by +17.68% to 1.44 USD/KG in W5 November 2021. At the same time, the wholesale price of sesame seeds in China decreased by -19.71% to 1.88 USD/KG. India's sesame seed production fell due to unfavorable weather pushing the price up. Meanwhile, declined production in sesame seed exporting countries to China and the higher price will force China to expand its share to other suppliers due to high demand until the end of this year.
