The price for Mexican fresh scallions (spring onions) in the US wholesale market has had a substantial 32% WoW increase due to a low supply in August and the first weeks of September.
In W38, the wholesale price in the Detroit market stood at USD 7.12/kg, recording the highest price in the last two years. The price also registered a 76% MoM increase and an 84% YoY increase.
