Tridge's benchmark Spanish wholesale RBD palm oil price traded down €2042 in Just over a week. At the close of trading in June, the price had dropped to €964/mt, 68% down WoW. Expected output growth in Malaysia continues to weigh down on prices while fears of a bleak macroeconomic picture are adding further pressure. The weaknesses in other edible oils are also exerting further pressure on palm oil futures and wholesale prices in Europe.
