The wholesale price of Brazilian sugar increased by 17.41% YoY in W49, attributing to concerns about global supply shortage. In the 2022/23 season, global sugar production is expected to decrease by 2% due to the low production estimates in India and Thailand. As a result, the global sugar price is predicted to continue with an uptrend in the medium term.
