The volume of agricultural production in Azerbaijan in January-October 2021 amounted to 8 billion 34.3 million manats, which is 4.1% more than in 10 months of 2020, the State Statistics Committee told Interfax-Azerbaijan. During the reporting period, the volume of production in animal husbandry amounted to 3 billion 791.1 million manats, crop production - 4 billion 243.2 million manats. At the same time, the growth in livestock production was 2.7%, crop production - 5.4%. For 10 months, the republic produced 457.5 thousand tons of meat (an increase of 3.2%), 1 million 809.3 thousand tons of milk (an increase of 1.6%), 16 thousand tons of wool (an increase of 0, 1%), 497.4 tons of silkworm (an increase of 11.4%) and 1 billion 554.2 million eggs (a decline of 3.8%).
