Platin catfish farmed for export purposes

There are only 2 main types of catfish in Malaysia that are often farmed by suppliers namely "Keli" and "Patin". This is because these 2 types of catfish are in high demand and easy to maintain. "Keli" is more to the local market while the relatively expensive "Patin" from "Keli" is more for export. "Patin" is now widely exported in the international market, especially in the Middle East.
