The harvest period of Myanmar mangoes is from late May to July which is the rainy season. Mangoes are highly consumed as fresh fruits among the local people. However, for higher profit, exporters supply value-added products to the foreign markets and these products include mango paste, frozen mango, preserved mango slice, wine, and dried mango. These value-added products are usually produced in July-August. Those value-added products are currently exported to Singapore, China, and Russia.
