Research conducted by the Central Bank of Paraguay (BCP) showed that meat shipments increased by 6.9% within a year in terms of volume.
The main destination of such exports was Chile, holding a 36.5% share, representing 71K tons for a value of USD 229M. If compared to the same period of last year, these figures show a 15% increase in terms of value and 18.9% in terms of volume. The second position is occupied by Russia but witnessed a drop in both value and volume (28.4% and 32.5%).
