Horticulture growers and exporters from the southern highlands regions of Tanzania are having high hopes on the increase of export volume of their products. The growers and exporters have secured a 5-acres plot from the government to establish small and medium industries together with cold rooms to process their horticulture products for local market and export. This will help increase productivity and meet the demand in the markets as the COVID-19 pandemic led to a shortage of products in the markets.
