The Oilseed and Grain Receivers unions accepted the oilseed industry's proposal after twenty days of a total strike. The Chamber of the Oil Industry of the Argentine Republic (Ciara) announced on Dec 30th that an agreement was reached with the unions.

Therefore, an early lifting of the force measure implemented by FTCIODyARA and SOEA (the unions) that paralyzed port terminals and the Argentine agro-industrial complex is expected.

The agreement reached consists of a 35% salary increase in 2020, an annual bonus equivalent to the last salary of 2020 (which includes a 35% increase over the annual bonus paid in 2019), an exceptional pandemic bonus of AR$ 90,000 payable in nine consecutive quotas for those who worked during the period of social isolation, a salary adjustment for 2021 of 25% in two payments, and the commitment to review the salary next August with the application of the INDEC (National Statistics and Census Institute) Consumer Price Index (CPI) to complete 2021 increases.
