In W44, protesters around Brazil blocked main roads and highways as a form of protest, setting fire barricades to stop transit as a result of the outcome of the Brazilian elections, which ended on October 30th, 2022. Many trucks carrying bulk cargoes such as soybeans, corn, and fertilizers were stopped and unable to reach their destination. In addition to affecting the transport of containers, reflecting delays, fines, and demurrages. Cargo agents, exporters, and importers are worried about truckers' strikes.
