Mangosteen seasonality

Mangosteen is in season from August to November in the Philippines. Usually, fresh mangosteen fruits are exported to countries such as Hong Kong, USA, and Australia. Demand goes up during the summer as such product can be used in different types of food and drinks. In the Philippines, it can be a fruit shake which is locally sold in tourist spots, like the beaches. Together with other tropical fruits, demand for the product is high both internationally and locally.
