Brazilian exports of fresh and processed beef increased by 2% in September compared to the same month of 2019, reaching the mark of 166,366 tons, data from the Brazilian Refrigerators Association (Abrafrigo). China remains the main buyer of Brazilian beef, being responsible alone for the purchase of 57.4% of the volume traded. The second-largest importer of Brazilian beef is Egypt, followed by Chile, Russia and the USA.
