Türkiye Is Open to the Import of Ukrainian Fish Products

The Ukrainian State Fishery Agency, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, and the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection are working on the opening of new international export markets. Turkiye recently granted Ukraine an agreed form of quality certificate required for the unimpeded import of fish products from Ukraine, providing new opportunities for Ukrainian exporters. In 2022 Ukraine exported 8,400MT of fish, fish products, and other aquatic bioresources totaling USD 48.6M. Ukraine exported most volumes of fish products to Moldova, Germany, the USA, Denmark, and Lithuania.
